NHU takes the efficient use and recycling of energy and resources as the core and strives to continuously increase the application of renewable resources to achieve green and high-quality development through technological innovation. Our biological fermentation segment uses renewable corn as raw material and microbial fermentation as the method to prepare target molecules. We produce the product through cell metabolism, which promotes the transformation from fossil energy to renewable energy. NHU insists on reusing, reducing, and decontaminating the three industrial wastes. Through joint R&D and the introduction of world leading recovery technologies and devices, we have effectively increased the utilization of resources. The COD emission and the energy consumption per RMB10,000 production value is reduced by more than 5% and 7% every year respectively.

On March 18, the “Riding the Tide: 2026 Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Annual Conference” was held at the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hall. More than 800 attendees—including provincial leaders, renowned scholars, and leading entrepreneurs—gathered to discuss the future of Zhejiang’s business community in a new era.
